Barrierefreiheit
Stand: Juni 2026
CADFaber aims to make its content pages, documentation, and editor controls usable with keyboard navigation, semantic headings, visible focus states, and descriptive labels. The editor is a complex 3D application, so some spatial modeling interactions may still require a pointing device.
Current Accessibility Measures
- Skip link to main content on every page.
- Semantic page structure with one primary heading per route.
- Keyboard-accessible buttons, tabs, dialogs, and menus.
- Accessible names for icon-only editor controls.
- High-contrast dark and light themes.
- Screen-reader status announcements in the editor.
Known Limitations
- The 3D viewport depends on canvas rendering and cannot expose every visual geometry detail to assistive technologies.
- Some drag-based transform operations are easier with a mouse or trackpad than with keyboard-only input.
- Imported third-party model files may not contain meaningful accessibility metadata.
